The Road To Excellence
Many say they want to walk this road to excellence, but few ever make it past the first mile. If you truly want to pursue excellence in your life, then follow these 5 simple bits of advice.
1) Believe You Can! If you set a goal, don’t let the past hold you back. You are not your past. You can change anything about your life that you want to if you focus on what you want in the future, not what you have had in the past. Focus on where you want to go, not where you are today or where you have been. If you don’t like something, change it! Your life, finances, relationships, job, house, car, income, all can change – if you are willing to change.
2) Invest In Your Future! Invest in your education, whether it be reading books, finding a mentor or paying for training or classes. Invest in your education. What is your future worth to you? Set a price. What time and money are you willing to give to get you where you want to be?
3) Stop Caring About What Others Think! They are not living your life. They are not walking in your shoes. Stop caring about what other think, especially if they have not caught your vision. Don’t allow them to be the rope that holds your hot air balloon to the ground. Cut that rope and begin to soar!
4) Stop Comparing Yourself To Others! You don’t know the struggles they have had or the sacrifices that they have made. Many of them have simply been on their journey longer than you have. The most important thing is that you make progress on a daily basis. Don’t worry about doing more than someone else. Just be consistent in what you are doing to get you where you want to be.
5) Celebrate Your Wins! Whether they are big or small, take time to celebrate your wins. Keep your momentum going and go from celebrating one win to the next and eventually you will arrive at your destination having enjoyed the journey.
Commit to your destination and choose your path. The road to excellence can be bumpy, but if you follow these five steps, you will reach your goals and enjoy the journey!

Is WORK A Four Letter Word?
What comes to mind when you hear the word work?
Pain? Necessary evil? Something to avoid?
Most people just want to get it over with. They want to retire. Sunday evening most people dread getting up the next day to go to work.
This is usually an employee mindset. Do the work so you can go have fun. Work 50 weeks so you can have two weeks of vacation.
Entrepreneurs think differently. Work is not a negative. Work is the key to fortune and happiness. It is the key to purpose and growth.
If you have a negative mindset about work, you can only go so far in life. Your mindset needs to be re-framed. You need to look at work as an opportunity, an opportunity to grow and make life better, not only for yourself, but for others as well. When you have this mindset you will look at work with excitement and enthusiasm. You will rest in order to gain more strength to continue working. Your work will be your joy and your passion..
If you work just to retire, then what? What purpose is there? To just hang around? Our purpose should not be to just make a dollar and pay the bills. Yes, we need to make a dollar so we can survive. We need to pay bills so we can survive. But, life can be more than just survival and living paycheck to paycheck and bills to more bills. If you are willing to change your mindset and be passionate about your work, your life could be so much richer.
There is nothing wrong with being an employee. It is a career choice and life choice. Unfortunately, many employees have never considered anything different.
I personally have had an entrepreneurial mindset my whole life. I am diligent in making plans and taking action. From my first entrepreneurial adventure of selling my sisters toys, to starting a couple businesses in Russia, I have enjoyed my work. Now, that doesn’t mean it is easy or always “fun”. Work is laborious. But the PURPOSE of your labor is much more enjoyable. Working to build your empire, rather than someone else’s is much more rewarding. The Bible even says that it is a blessing to enjoy one's work.
Today, the mission of my primary business is enhance other people’s lives and help them to reach their goals. When I worked in a factory one summer or in a gas station, there wasn’t a lot of purpose except to get my paycheck. In any business or job, we receive a paycheck, but that doesn’t have to be the end goal. There can be so much more to work than just a paycheck!
Another business I am growing has a mission to inspire, challenge, encourage and empower people. With this business I am still shoveling manure, but it is such a joy, manure and all!

3 Easy Steps To Redesign Your Life
Are you living the life you want or are you living the life you have been given?
Most people take the easy path and the one with the least amount of resistance.
Repeated behavior creates habits; and habits are hard to change, especially bad ones. Your life is made up of many habits you do over time. Unless you have all great habits that you practice daily, you may have woken up one day and wondered, “Where am I and how did I get here?”
Just like changing course while sailing needs you to move the rudder or change the way the sails are set, so changing where you are at in life needs you to take action. It was repeated action that got you to where you are at and it will be repeated different actions that will get you to where you want to be.
If you will follow these three steps daily, they will be a road map for you and will help you to not be too distracted or make wrong decisions. They will help bring you to your destination.
1) Ask Yourself Daily, “What Do I Want?”
How often have you asked yourself this question? How much thought have you put into the answer?
If you don’t know what you want, where you want to live or what you want to be doing, you need to answer these questions before you set sail. If you don’t know, you will just get blown around on the sea of life. These answers will be your rudder. They will determine how you adjust your sails each week.
When demands come, you will know what is worth your time to accept and you will know what you need to say no to.
If an opportunity comes your way, you will see it and realize you need to seize it, or pass it by. You won’t miss the opportunity and you won’t waste your time pursuing something that won’t bring you closer to where you want to be.
Every time something comes your way, ask yourself, “Is this really what I want?”
Asking this question will give you direction and clarity.
2) Ask Yourself Daily, “Who Can I Serve?”
As Zig Zigler said, “Help enough people get what they want, and you will get everything that you want.”
Genuinely seek out how you can serve people. If you see a need, act upon it and fill it. If you don’t know a need, ask. Ask how you can help. Ask them about their hurts and burdens. Find a need and then help meet it. Find out people's goals and help them get closer to reaching those goals.
If you practice this daily you will be on a fast track not only to success, but to an enriched and meaningful life.
When you serve people, you add value. Any store or service that does not add value, closes down. They don’t last long if they are not giving value to their customers. If they bring value to people, they grow.
In order to redesign your life, apply this life principle and ask this question daily. “Who can I serve?”
3) Ask Yourself Daily, “Why Not Now?”
This question is essential if you desire to redesign your life. You must ask it every single day. Unfortunately, it is human nature to ask, “Why not tomorrow?” This question leads to procrastination, which halts your progress, eventually frustrates you since you are not moving closer to meeting your desired goals, and in the end, causes you to throw in the towel. It is like getting stranded on a sand bar.
You can come up with many excuses why you can’t or don’t have the time to serve people or take the action that will adjust your sails so that you can catch the wind to keep you moving in the direction that you want to go. You must choose to act, not make excuses or procrastinate. If you do not act on a thought within five seconds, in most cases, you won't act. You will talk yourself out of doing what you thought to do.
Next time you ask yourself this question, and hopefully it will be tomorrow, write down every excuse you came up with as to why you can’t or shouldn’t take action now. After that, put the paper away until the next day. When you get up, read your paper. It will definitely put everything into clearer perspective.
As you start to redesign your life, at first your actions may be small. Maybe you’ll just make a phone call or send an email to a hurting friend. Maybe you will do a small chore that you normally don’t do. Maybe you will pay for someone’s coffee. Or maybe you’ll read an inspirational or challenging book that will give you more motivation. But if you will commit to asking these questions over time, you will be constantly tweaking your course and catching the wind. If you desire to redesign your life, following these three steps daily is the simplest way to add value to others and to your own life.
As they say, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step.” Get stepping and create the life you desire.

What Happens When 10X Is Your Measuring Stick…
If you are willing to think and act 10X more than what you are
currently doing, then everything in your life that you apply that to should multiply by 10X.
What could that mean for you?
Would you like your relationships, health, sports, success, business, or overall
life to be 10X better than it is now?
Then you need to think and act 10X more.
When you think and act 10X kinder and bolder, imagine
the results. What if you invest 10X more
time into training or studying? What if
you gave 10X more compliments to your spouse or children? What if you invested 10X more of your
resources? What if you ate 10X more
veggies (or cut down on sugar by 10X?) What if you had 10X more faith! Imagine the results!!
Most people are not willing to invest 5X more, let
alone 10X more. If you are willing to
make everything 10X more, you would have better health, you could surpass any competitor, you could make your
relationships 10X better and have results and success 10X more than they are
today.
It is essential to stretch your thinking and flex
your mental muscles. This will take you
outside your comfort zone where you feel safe and secure. You will be forced to see the possibilities
rather than just all of the problems.
How far are you willing to stretch? 2X? 5X? 10X?
Say you have a goal of earning $100,000 this year. Why not change it to $1,000,000? When you do this you force yourself to operate at a higher level and will definitely be taking other areas in your life up 10X as well.
If you read one book a year, multiply that by 10! How about in giving? How would it feel to give 10X more?

If you read one book a year, multiply that by 10! How about in giving? How would it feel to give 10X more?
In order to up your life 10X, you must be creative
and you must be brave. Are you willing
to go there? Are you seriously willing
to go there, and not just for a few days?
Are you willing to really change your thinking and not allow it to revert
back to your status quo?
You must be willing to question yourself daily and
believe in a whole new set of possibilities that are before you.
What is your 10X potential?
Your new goals, thinking and action, may cause others to think you are crazy. Are you willing to rise above this and keep thinking and acting 10X more?
Your new goals, thinking and action, may cause others to think you are crazy. Are you willing to rise above this and keep thinking and acting 10X more?
To help you start thinking outside your box, start
thinking of goals that will far exceed your current capabilities. Thinking 10X more makes you shoot for the stars,
not just the tallest tree. You need to
develop a mentality that goes beyond your current abilities.
Your vision should be where you want to be, not
where you are. Your goals
will challenge you to become more than you are today, 10X more!
You will not just be “lucky”. You will be unstoppable!
When a challenge arises, tell yourself you are going to rise above it. You can always do 10X more than is required. If you are ready to stop, tell yourself to do 10X more! If you do 10 push ups, do 10 more and eventually do 10X more.
Are you willing to give 10X more to be or have 10X more? Try it for an hour, a day, or even a week!

3 Secrets To Living An EXTRAordinary Life
1) Never Be Satisfied – “The drive to close the gap between near-perfect and perfect is the difference between great and unstoppable.” Tim Grover
- Do not be content after achieving your goal. Push yourself further, beyond ordinary, into EXTRAordinary.
- Never being satisfied does not mean not appreciating what you have. Be humble and grateful for everything in life and this will keep you from becoming complacent or lazy. Desiring to be more and to do more will keep you going.
2) Be True To Yourself And Your Values – “70 percent of US employees hate their jobs and only one in three Americans report being happy.”
- If you desire to be unstoppable, purge everything from your life that you hate.
- Immediately change anything that is not right in your life. Don’t wait for a better time. It will never come. Complacency will keep you in the same ordinary rut.
- When you take control and live life on your terms, your confidence and self-respect will soar. Don't give in to or be satisfied with the status quo. Keep your goals in mind and strive for excellence!
3) Continue Learning, Always – “Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.” Socrates
- Ordinary people spend their spare time seeking entertainment. EXTRAordinary people spend their spare moments seeking self-improvement, education and learning new things.
- Never quit improving your skills and knowledge. This will help you rise above the turkeys and soar with the eagles.
When you prepare yourself by applying these 3 secrets, you will have power and an upper hand on those who do not. Most people are not willing to pay the price to become EXTRAordinary. Pay the price and reap the benefits!

You Can Get More Desired Results With This 5 Second Question
Some of us ask this critical question in regards to things we do and the time we spend on an activity. Unfortunately most people do not ask this question in regards to the amount of time they give to the thoughts they hold in their mind.
This is the golden question that you must constantly ask yourself, “Is this worth my time?”
Is it worth your time pursuing activities that waste your time or do not move you closer to a desired result?
- Is it worth my time watching TV when the lawn needs mowing?
- Is it worth my time eating donuts when I want to lose 30 pounds?
Is it worth your time thinking about something that you do not want?
- Is it worth my time thinking about failing a test, or would that time be better spent reviewing the information necessary to pass?
- Is it worth my time wondering or worrying if someone will accept or reject my invitation, rather than just picking up the phone and calling them?
It would serve you best if you would use your time to do things and think about things that you want to accomplish, rather than on things you don’t.
You will get more of the results you desire if you will ask yourself before you do an activity, “Is this worth my time?” It will also help if you ask yourself that question as you are putting things in your calendar and planning your day or week.
It may be easier to control activities, but true continual success will come easier if you control the way you think.
The results you are getting are controlled by the things you choose to spend your time doing and the by the way you think and what you spend your time thinking about.
Get better results in all areas of your life by asking yourself this critical question before commiting to an activity or a thought.
Are the thoughts I am thinking and the activities I am pursuing each day worth my time?

Edit Your Thoughts – 3 Game Changing Mental Activities
We all allow negative thoughts to creep in from time to time. But, it is our choice whether they stay or not. I read once that negative thoughts use the same mental real estate as the positive ones do. That painted a good picture of the space in my mind. I only have so much space and I need to decide what is going to be allowed in.
Positive and negative thoughts take up the same space, but they do not bring the same value or hold the same importance. You wouldn’t leave your garbage laying around your kitchen day in and day out, so why would you leave negative thoughts in your mind?
Practice These 3 Mental Activities And Change Your Game
1) Eliminate Stinkin’ Thinkin’ – Just as you take the trash out when it starts to smell, do the same when stinky thoughts enter you mind. Do not let them occupy the space because when they do, usually your results show what you mind has been occupied with. Spending time identifying the reasons why something can’t be done will never help you get it done.
2) Have A Positive Outlook – Once the negative thoughts are out, you must fill that space with positive thoughts or there will be room for more negative ones to creep back in. Once you have stopped complaining about a problem, think how you might be able to solve it. You need to look for solutions if you ever hope to move towards your goals or get over a hump in the road. Just getting rid of the negative thoughts will not move you forward. Replace them with positive, constructive thoughts.
3) Drive Your Actions With Your Thoughts – Since your thoughts drive the actions you take, make sure your thoughts are going to take you where you want to go. You will get superior results if you have superior thoughts. If you get a flat tire and sit in the car hitting the wheel cussing, it won't change the fact that you have a flat and the tire needs to be changed. It would be better to stop and think, "Where is my spare?" or, "Do I need to call for assistance?" The faster you change your thinking, the faster you will be back driving down the road.
If you edit your thoughts, you will accomplish more; and the quicker you choose to get rid of negative thinking and bring positive, constructive thoughts is, the quicker you will meet your deadline and reach your goals. Change your mental activity and you will change your game!

Are You Making The Most Of Your Day?
What activities give you the best return on your investment?
What activities give you the best return on your investment?
Are You Living Every Minute To Its Fullest?
Potential. We all
have potential. We all have something we
are meant to do in this life. We all
have the same 24 hours in a day, seven days a week.
So, what separates those who excel and those who choose to
live a mediocre life?
There are several things, but today we are focusing on our
use of the time we have been given.
How do you spend your time?
How do you spend your free time? If
to look at those who excel and develop success in life, and those who don’t,
how each group spends their free time makes all the difference.
Let’s face it, we are all busy and we all have
responsibilities. But, we also all have
some free time each day. Sometimes it
falls between breakfast and leaving for work or school. Sometimes it is ten minutes while you are
waiting at an appointment. Much of the
time is in the evening before bed.
Whether it is ten minutes or an hour or two, how do you spend this precious time?
Are you spending it on social media or the boob tube? Or, are you reading, educating yourself and
developing personal growth? Are you
mastering something? Are you
contributing to another human being or to a good cause?
Do you spend your time planning the next show to watch or game to play? Or, are you planning your schedule for the
next day?
What activities do you think will give you the best return
on your investment?
If you consider each activity, big or small, ask yourself, “What
is this doing for my future, for my priorities and success or how is this
helping me to reach my goals in life?
How am I influencing or helping other people?” Stop and think about this.
Pause and contemplate the question.
Maybe, you need to make some adjustments. Maybe you need to rethink your priorities or
refresh yourself or the goals you have set.
Or, maybe you need to set some new goals!
This self-evaluation will help you to rise above mediocrity
and live a much richer life.
Every minute we have been given is a gift, and not one of
them can be gotten back once they have ticked away.
You have been given an awesome gift. Don’t waste it on less than awesome
activities!

3 Requirements For Working From A Home Office
There are two typical thoughts when someone hears that you are working from your home office.
1) You have all the time in the world to lay around, do what you want when you want, and you are just lucky.
2) That’s not a “real” job!
Both of those stereotypes couldn’t be further than the truth!
In order to be a successful business person working out of your home you need skills and character many 9-5 jobs don’t require. Money does not just come in the mail if you are doing nothing. Just like you don’t get a check if you don’t clock in for a traditional job.
If we consider what a job is: the work that a person does regularly in order to earn money, according to Merriam-Webster, we would acknowledge that you can do this working as an employee for someone, or working for yourself. You can do this in an office, store or out of your home.
Unfortunately, most people are afraid of not having the security, which today, many realize is really a false sense of security, of knowing what their monthly income will be. So, they live paycheck to paycheck, unable to get ahead.
Yes, there is more flexibility and opportunity for growth when you own your own business and work out of you home office, but it doesn’t come without a price.
If you are thinking about working out of your home office, consider these 3 requirements if you hope to succeed.
1) You Must Be Relentlessly Self- Directed And Self-Motivated
If you cannot discipline yourself and control your own actions and what you spend time on, you might as well not even start. Working for yourself requires you to motivate yourself and not rely on someone telling you what to do and when to do it.
Will you get up when you feel like sleeping in, and you can, because you are working from home?
Will you pick up the phone and make the calls?
Will you turn off the TV in the evening so you can invest in personal growth?
If you struggle doing those things, you will have a continual uphill climb and you won't get too far.
2) You Must Be Persistent And Willing To Grow From Failure Rather Than Quit
If you are not hungry for success, you will not succeed in the long run. There will be ups and downs and if you are not willing to get up and learn from mistakes or failures, you will end up quitting.
Many people look at successful home business owners and think they got where they by luck. There is no luck. It is hard work and a tenacious spirit that got them there. I hear all the time, “I wish I could do what they do or be where they are.” Well, that usually is not true because they are not willing to do what others did to get there.
3) You Must Be Able To Focus And Draw A Line Between Work And Home
One of my biggest struggles is drawing a line between work and home. This is difficult because you are, in a sense, like a doctor, often on call at all hours of the day and evening. This has its benefits, but also, drawbacks. You may be inconvenienced at times, but you also have the freedom to schedule things how you want.
Setting hours to work can help a great deal for the work you do from your home office. This will help distinguish work time and home time when you are at home.
Working from a home office can be very rewarding, but it takes hard work and self-discipline. If you can motivate yourself and are willing to persist, even in spite of the ups and downs, you can experience freedom and be in control of your own destiny.

The Joy Of Random Acts Of Kindness
Many people get frustrated when the car in front of them doesn’t hit the gas fast enough when the light turns green. We rush to the door of Caribou if we eye someone else coming so we can get in line first.
Even as I read that first paragraph negative emotions are aroused inside of me. Did you feel the same? Impatience? Frustration? Greed?
Instead, next time take a deep breath and release that impatience and frustration, and maybe consider opening the door to let the other person go in first.
Reading that paragraph was much more peaceful and pleasurable!
Giving and being of service to others is not only kind, but personally rewarding.
Acts of service, especially unexpected act of service, are a breath of fresh air in a world stagnant with selfishness.
If you want your life to be sweeter, try making someone else's life sweeter! Remember, we reap what we sow!
Find joy in serving, giving and doing random acts of kindness! You will be a blessing to someone else and you, in turn, will feel an enormous blessing inside as well.
Give an unexpected gift to show your appreciation for good service or just that you care. Flowers, a gift card, an unusually large tip or even just a cup of coffee.
The main thing is to give selflessly and do not expect anything in return. Then your joy will be full!
The energy of kindness usually is quite contagious.
Are you willing to commit to doing a random act of kindness this week? How about today?
Here are a few suggestions:
- Buy coffee or a meal for the person behind you
- Open the door for someone
- Buy socks for a homeless person
- Donate things you no longer use to charity
- Leave $5 in the restroom when the cleaner is in there
- Buy someone a beautiful bouquet of flowers
- Say thank you and leave amazing reviews
- Tell five people that you are grateful for the today
- Commit to texting, calling or writing one person a day and tell them how you appreciate them
Enjoy life more by doing random acts of kindness on a weekly or even a daily basis!

Make Your Life A Masterpiece!
Most aspiring artists have a mentor or two and if we desire to create a masterpiece of our lives, we also need a mentor.
Jim Rohn has been a mentor in my life, even though I never met him. I have been inspired by many things that Mr. Rohn has written, and I would like to share some of the value I have gained and help personalize it for you life.
One thing Jim Rohn noticed that people did was to break their lives down into two major parts: wealth-building and the rest of their lives.
Wealth-building is just math, but life is art!
Math is hard facts and there is only one answer to every problem. Math is a science. It is based on formulas and you can know the outcome before anything happens. The beauty of math is that you know what to expect. If you work the system, you can put it on autopilot and let the math do the work for you.
Art, on the other hand is more subjective. There is no right answer and “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” The beauty of art is that you never know how it will turn out.
Life is like art and there can be many different styles, and those styles can be ever changing and evolving.
In our lives, different people are like different colors. If you make a mistake you can learn from it, change it or even paint right over it. You can also change the scenery in your life or pick up a different brush or use different media. The pot can go right back on the wheel and be reshaped.
There are many famous artists and they all have different styles. That’s what makes life beautiful. What is your style? Are you painting, sculpting or building? What is the shape of your pot or the color on your canvas?
Reflecting on your life, do you spend more time on math or art?
We all need to do both and it is important to do your best in math, your wealth-building plan, so that you can take care of yourself and your family. But are you spending too much time doing math that your canvas is empty or drab?
When your life draws to an end, it is the canvas that will live on into future generations. Whether great artists died wealthy or poor, people remember them for the art they left behind.
If we do our math correctly, we’ll have more time to focus on our art! We will have more opportunity to try different media and our work will be much more scenic.
Use bold strokes and brilliant colors. Take the time to make a beautiful masterpiece!

What Would You Give For A Million Dollars?
We have all heard people say, “I’ll do this or that for a million dollars.” Unfortunately it is usually
something outrageous and a one-time thing. If you want a million dollars, you will have a better chance of reaching that goal by taking consistent smaller steps each day.
Many look at a person who is fit and say, “I wish I had a body like that.” But then they turn the TV station and reach for another handful of chips,. rather than going for a walk or fixing a salad.
How many times have you heard, “If only I had done things differently,” and then you see them continue in the same direction, not changing a thing?
All of these situations have one thing in common – people who are not willing to change and take action to achieve what they want. You cannot expect to make more money, improve your health or change your life if you are not willing to change your thinking and your daily actions.
You can know for certain that you will be in the same place tomorrow if you do the same things today that you did yesterday.
What are you willing to do differently to save or earn more money, improve your health or fitness level or grow in your relationships? Are you willing to make some changes today so tomorrow can be better? What are you willing to invest? Are you willing to give 10 minutes a day to a new activity? How about 20 minutes? Are you willing to invest in some education so you can be better able to accomplish you desires? Will you read a book this week? Will you cut out some carbs and sugar? Will you sacrifice a trip to the coffee shop or a new pair of shoes? What are you willing to do? You don’t need to donate a kidney, just make a few changes. Start a few new habits and get rid of an old one.
What are you really willing to do to make a million dollars or to lose some extra weight?

3 reasons Why You Should Complete Your Project Now
Is there a good reason why you should complete your project now? Maybe putting it off another day won’t be so bad. There is always tomorrow, right?
Not if you want to be successful! Your projects need to be completed now, or at least you need to be taking steps now to complete them.
Consider these 3 reason why you should complete your project now.
1) Discipline – All successful people are disciplined. Whether your project is big or small, completing it now will help you refine your discipline and it will set you up for more success in the future. Discipline breeds discipline, just as inactivity breeds more inactivity. Create a disciplined life and achieve more of your goals!
2) Satisfaction – Every time you complete a project it gives you a sense of satisfaction. This will also inspire you to tackle another project and your productivity will just keep moving forward, duplicating success after success.
3) Tomorrow may never come. “Tomorrow” may never come because tomorrow will become today and the vicious cycle will continue. You will reap what you sow! You need to sow today.
As the saying goes, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today!”
What is on your list to get done today?
If you complete what you have planned for today, you will be one step closer to achieving your goal tomorrow. Success breeds success, and success leaves clues. Duplicate your success and leave some clues for other people to follow!
If this has given you any benefit, please comment below or on www.facebook.com/absorb360.

Is Your Day Planned By Your Vision Or By Your Emotions?
Successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful won’t do. This doesn’t mean that successful people always feel like doing what needs to be done. The difference is, they choose to do what needs to be done because their vision and their end goal is very important to them. Their vision causes them to do what is necessary. They do not allow themselves to succumb to their feelings.
When you dream a dream and put your vision down on paper, you start off with a lot of excitement and energy. Unfortunately when you experience the first bump in the road or you wake up and don’t feel like doing anything, the excitement fades. Instead of getting up and doing what you know needs to be done for the day, your day’s activities change according to how you feel.
How you feel should be irrelevant if you have an end goal in mind. Successful people do not operate on how they feel.
If you operate on how you feel when you get up, those emotions will cause you to go all over the place. You will be changing direction every few weeks, depending on how you feel.
It is essential that you solidify your vision and don’t base your actions on how you are feeling!
Is your vision strong enough to pull you through?

The Evils Of Money
Is money evil? Is money everything?
Many people portray money as evil. They claim, “Money isn’t everything” or “There are more important things than money”.
That is true, but there doesn’t have to be a trade off! Money, in and of itself, is not evil. The LOVE of money is the root of evil.
You do not need to choose between money or happiness. You do not need to trade happiness, health or family for money.
Money simply makes you more of who you are.
Think about that. Money accentuates you for who you really are. It will not make you kinder or more unkind. It will only make you more of who you already are.
Understanding yourself and understanding money and its energy will help you escape the bondage of wrong thinking.
Money isn’t scarce. Somebody is making it. If you provide value, either in a product or a service, you should make and have money.
Your choices will either bring you more money and abundance, or less. There is nothing wrong with having money. It is just a result of habits you do over long term. It is the results of those habits, your actions, the value you bring, the problems you solve and the difference you make in people’s lives.
Help more people. Solve more problems. Make more money. If you impact more people, you will feel better and so will they!
Poverty serves no one. You cannot help people very much if you are broke. It is selfish to be broke. You cannot help the poor by staying poor yourself.
Again, it comes back to our mind set, our habits and our actions. Money will not make you become more. Controlling these things and making wise choices are what will help you to become more.
Proverbs 12:14 “From the fruit of my words I shall be satisfied with good and the work of my hands shall come back to me as harvest.”

Sow Discipline, Reap Multiple Rewards
If you discipline your efforts in whatever you desire to pursue, you will reap multiple rewards.
We have talked about the universal law of sowing and reaping in the past, but today we want to dig a little deeper.
When an apple seed is sown, you do not reap just one apple, but bushels of them. When you plant one tomato seed, you reap many tomatoes. This same principle applies when you are fair, honest and generous. If that is what you sow, your reward will be multiplied. If you give more than you expect to receive, then you will get much more than you expected. If you give people value, you will reap much more value.
It seems quite simple and so we may wonder why more people don’t sow more of what they want to reap. I believe the main reason is discipline!
It takes constant daily effort to discipline yourself. You must discipline your thoughts, your attitude and your actions. If you fail to do so, you fail to sow good seed that will produce a multiple fold crop.
What daily disciplines are you engaging in? Do you discipline yourself with your time? Do you plan it wisely? Do you arrive on time? (Early is on time. On time is late!) Do you value other people’s time? Do you spend time with those you love?
Are you learning and practicing the discipline of paying it forward, paying your taxes, paying yourself and paying attention?
Are you learning the discipline of reading all the books you can (that bring value)? Are you disciplining yourself with learning all that you can learn? Are you disciplining yourself to teach all that you have to teach?
Are you disciplining yourself to invest, in yourself, in your continuing education, in others, and in your future?
Remember the law: For every disciplined effort, there are multiple rewards!
Likewise, if you neglect discipline, there will be a price to pay too. Everything affects everything else, whether good or bad.
New and self-imposed disciplines are what will get you going, keep you going and get you to where you want to go.
What areas in your life need the most attention right now? How do you need to discipline what you are sowing in these areas? Are you just getting started or are you on the verge of quitting?
Don’t wait for someone else to impose discipline upon you. Impose it upon yourself!
Your life and mine will either serve others as a warning or an example. A warning of the results of an undisciplined life, or an example of the fruits of a disciplined life. The Bible tells us to take a look at the field of a lazy man. When people look at your "fields", what do they see? What do you want them to see?

Positive Thinking Can Be Detrimental
We hear so much about the benefits of positive thinking, but many times it is detrimental if we want to accomplish a goal. It is great for boosting your confidence, but if that’s all we do, we won’t get very far.
Positive thinking should just be the first step in the process of achieving our goals. If we engage in positive visualization we shouldn’t remain content with the feelings we imagine in this process. We need to take it a step further. The next step is to visualize any obstacles that might come our way.
When we allow ourselves to visualize the difficulties that we might encounter, this helps us to develop realistic plans to get over the hurdles, rather than tripping over them when they pop up unexpectedly.
4 Steps to Proper Positive Thinking
1) Dream and come up with a clear goal and imagine what it will take to accomplish it.
2) Imagine and feel the outcome through positive thinking and visualization. How will you feel when the goal is accomplished?
3) Consider the obstacles and main difficulties that will arise and could prevent you from accomplishing your goal. How will you respond?
4) Create a plan or a solution for each of these obstacles. Visualize yourself solving some of these problems.
You need to contrast dreaming with reality so that you can figure out if the goal you have been dreaming about is really worth it. Then you can press on or release the goal without feeling guilty.

Refinement Of Discipline Will Take You Where You Want To Be In 10 Years
Ten years from now you will arrive somewhere. The question is, where? Look back ten years, are you where you planned to be or did life take several detours?
If you want the next ten years to be different, then you need to stop wishing and start doing. You cannot hope without acting.
It doesn’t take many changes to get you where you want to go. Just like a boat, it doesn’t take much turn in the rudder to get the ship to take a completely different course.
Refine your disciplines of reading, mindset and action and you will begin to see changes today and life changes in ten years.
If you are willing to make small changes, say 5-10%, and refine your thoughts and change your activity, you will start seeing results in one year, three, five and ten. These simple changes will make an enormous impact on your life and where you will be in ten years.
Mr Shoaff, Jim Rohn’s mentor, asked him, “Are you reading Books that are going to take you where you want to go in the next five years?” This is a simple, but yet profound question. What are you putting in your mind? What goes in, will come out. What you sow, you will reap. You are either reading the right books or you are not. You are either making changes, or you are not.
Disillusion is hoping without acting or wishing without doing. Do not be disillusioned! Nothing will change if you don’t. Ten years will pass and you will be the same as you are today, only ten years older.
The key to growth is the ability and discipline to ask yourself, “Where am I?” Now is the time to adjust your daily habits and activities so they will take you closer to where you want to be in ten years.
What daily steps do you need to take personally, mentally, spiritually or financially?
It is never too late to start. You can always choose to change a few daily disciplines and make an incredible difference in your life. The choice is yours. Refine your disciplines and be where you want to be ten years from now.
If this has given you any benefit, please comment below or on www.facebook.com/absorb360.

3 Ways To Push Through And Strengthen Your Mindset
Achievers Never Quit, And Quitters Never Achieve
Where are you at the end of January? Are you going strong? Maybe you are just hanging in there. Have you already thrown in the towel on your goals for 2016?
There will always be obstacles in your way to achieving your goals. Doubt and time stealers sneak in. What is giving you resistance at the end of this month?
If you have a desire to quit, reevaluate your goal and ask yourself, where will I be tomorrow or next year if I quit? What are my options? Are the consequences of quitting greater than the pain of pushing through?
3 Tips For Pushing Through Into February
1) Strengthen Your Character – If you quit it speaks more about who you really are than where you are in the struggle. External things happen to everyone, but not everyone quits. External things cannot stop you, only you can choose to stop. If you stumble and fall, that is not failure. Failure is if you stay down or make excuses to quit. Get back up and learn from the experience and push through!
2) Strengthen Your Attitude About Your Journey – Those who quit, don’t have a harder path. Likewise, those who achieve their goals don’t have an easier path. They just push through!
3) Strengthen Your Vision – If you want to achieve your goal, you need to see the journey to your destination differently. Don’t dwell on how long it is taking to get there. Take one day at a time. When you feel as though you have had all you can take, tell yourself that you have come too far to quit now. When you don’t feel you have the strength to keep going or hold on any longer, remind yourself that the darkest hour comes just before the dawn. Hold on and push through!
The artist Leonardo da Vinci once said, “Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed on a star does not change his mind.”
The only way you can fail is if you stop trying! You need to keep going and when you do, you will achieve your goals.
If you choose to stop, you cannot blame what is happening around you or to you. If you do stop, it is because what is inside you – or what is not inside you. It is essential to choose to think differently because success is probably just around the corner.
Strengthen your mind and achieve your goals. Don’t quit! Push through!
Finish January strong and let that momentum carry you into February. Take a day to reevaluate your month, make the changes you need to make and then push though.

Reach Your Goals With These Mind Games
I have repeatedly said that if we want to change our lives, we need to change our actions. If we want different results from yesterday, a week ago, a month ago or a year ago, we need to change what we did yesterday, last week, last month or last year.
As the saying goes, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Most of us have good intentions to change for the better. Many of make a plan and want to take action. Unfortunately, most of us, fail to actually DO what we plan.
These simple mind games can help you take the necessary action to achieve your goals.
You can quit unwanted habits and start desirable ones by playing these mind games.
Say you want to quit eating unhealthy snacks (or any unwanted habit). Typically you think each time you eat a bag of chips or a few cookies, I failed. But, if you play the mind game right, you can open yourself up to success. You need to train yourself to play this game. Each time you want to take cookie, you think of all the different things you could do instead of taking a cookie. You will begin to realize how many ways there are to succeed, rather than fail. I will eat an apple. I will go for a walk. I will have a glass of water. This helps you use the power of self-fulfilling prophecy. Say something you want to do, and then do it!
You need to play this same mind game if you want to create a positive habit. Maybe you want to exercise 30 minutes a day. Many people fail to meet this goal when they start thinking and saying, I won’t get my exercise in today. If you want to succeed, you need to come up with a better outcome, like, I will go for a walk before breakfast or during lunch, or I will use the treadmill or stationary bicycle while watching TV this evening.
When you choose to speak like this and play these games with your mind, you will increase your willpower and you will have a much higher success rate.
If you want to increase your chances of succeeding, you need to change your mindset!
If this has given you any benefit, please comment below or on www.facebook.com/absorb360.

New Year, New You – 2 Steps To Having A Successful 2016
I have been off a week here and have been doing some thinking as to where I would like this blog to go in the New Year. I am passionate about health and wellness 360 degrees – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I am also passionate about helping others live healthy and wealthy lives, all 360 degrees.
There are many blogs on healthy eating, about products, oils and supplements. I feel more led to focus on personal growth and our mindset. If we are not healthy in these areas, there is little hope for health in other areas.
We need to be encouraged, inspired and challenged to be the best that we can be and to strive to reach the desires and goals we have for life, whether they be personal, spiritual, relational, or financial.
2 Steps For A Successful 2016
1) Take Your Thoughts Captive!
If you can take your thoughts captive and control what you think about and how you think about it, you will control many results. You need to realize that only you are in control of what you think about and how your feel. Circumstance does not force you to feel a certain way. You choose how you want to feel.
The powerful decision comes not only when you choose to not think negatively, but when you choose to think positively! You must replace negative thoughts with positive ones. This can be hard work at times, but you must be willing to do this with every thought if you want to have a more successful 2016.
2) Choose a Positive Attitude!
A positive attitude will bring positive results! Your attitude will not only control your life and your destiny, but it will control the journey, making it pleasant or unbearable.
Your attitude will make you or break you in every area of your life. It is the foundation for every success or every failure you have.
Your actions are created by the attitude you choose to have. If you choose to have a negative attitude about a situation, you most likely will not put much thought into making needed changes for a better outcome. You will spend your thoughts and time complaining rather than choosing positives thoughts and taking positive actions that will, in the end, give you better results.
So, we could say, what you think is what you get. If you choose a bad attitude enough times, you will expect failure. On the other hand, if you choose to have a positive attitude, even when things don’t go your way, you will enjoy the journey much more and you will just step over the obstacle and continue towards your desired results.
Your thoughts will become like a magnet for either failure or success. When you get what you are expecting, this will reinforce your positive or negative beliefs.
Positive and Negative thoughts become habitual when you continually think a certain way. Reflect on where your thoughts tend to wander, especially if a challenging situation arises. It is easy to be positive when everything is going great. It is in the time of trials and tribulation that our true character is manifested.
Shift your thinking and create a positive attitude! Analyze every thought you think until positive thinking becomes habit.
When you take control of your attitude, you will take control of your results!
If this has given you any benefit, please comment below or on www.facebook.com/absorb360.

This Year I Will… 4 Steps To A Successful Start In 2016
Now that you have assessed 2015 and know what you need to change in order for 2016 to be more successful, you need to finish your plan if you don’t have a specific outline with detailed steps, and you need to start taking action immediately.
Every day you let slip by is one day further from your desired goal, and in fact it begins to create a wall that you will need to scale in order to get moving.
Writing goals and steps help you to have a better chance of taking action.
#1 – Write Your Top Five Lessons You Learned In 2015
These can be lessons on what to do or what not to do. They can be new skills you attained, or they can be something you read or a lesson from watching someone else.
#2 – Finish This Sentence - This year I will…
...accomplish, learn how to… Be specific!
Don’t just write, “I will increase my income.” Write specifically how much you will increase it. “I will increase my income by $20,000.”
Don’t just write, “I will be a better mother.” Write specifically how you plan to be a better mother. “I will spend at least 20 minutes each day doing what my child wants to do with me.”
Don’t just write, “I will to lose weight.” Be specific on the amount. “I will lose 30 pounds.”
#3 – Finish This Sentence - This is important to me be because…
Again, write in detail.
What will the extra $20,000 allow you to do? Pay off debt? Take a family vacation? It is not about the money, but about what the money will allow you to do.
Why is spending the 20 minutes a day important to you and your child? Be specific. Put some feeling into it.
Why do you want to lose 30 pounds? How will that make you feel? How will that affect your health or your self-image?
#4 – List 3 New Actions that You Will Implement In The Next 30 Days
I will…1, 2, 3
"I will spend an extra hour every day at work."
"I will schedule in 20 minutes every day at 3:30 to spend time with my child."
"I will cut bread out of my afternoon and evening meals."
If you follow these four steps for the next 30 days, you will be one month closer to reaching your goal for 2016. You will also be on the road to developing habits that will create momentum to propel you forward the next month and throughout the year.
Revisit these four steps and each month write a new #4. Do you need to continue doing the same thing? Maybe that didn’t work and you need to try something different. Most likely, you will begin to see little successes that will encourage you to keep on keeping on.
