Why Create True Residual Income?
Q. Why should we have residual income?
A. Because we have residual bills.
What is true residual income? Residual income is like writing a book or song and reaping the reward every time it sells. You do something once, and continue to benefit from it.
True residual income means it is going to come in month after month because of the effort you put in up until that point. You are not starting at zero when you begin a month. Your residual income starts the next month the same as it ended. It is not like cashing your check at the bank on Friday and starting at zero on Monday.
The big question is HOW to create this true residual income.
In order to have true residual income you must be assured that what is creating your income will continue to create it month after month. It is not just a one-time sale. It is like an insurance agent. He sets up your account once and then every month when you pay your bill, the company pays him a commission. Most likely once you set up an insurance account, you will stick with it, so he is pretty safe in counting his commissions on you each month.
True residual income can be very rewarding. The problem arises when people are looking for instant gratification. Creating a high paying residual income takes time. The good thing about that though is that you are in control of how fast you create the income you want. You can steadily build an income working part-time.
Besides residual bills, why would you want to have residual income?
True residual income not only gives you a stable income that you can count on each month, but it gives you freedom. You become free to choose how much and when you work. You can live life on your own terms.
Earning an income is not just about making money, but it is what the money allows you to do. Also, it is best when you can enjoy the people you love and the things you enjoy doing. Being able to live and enjoy life - this is freedom!
We all have residual bills. Bills come to us every month whether we want them to or not. So, why not consider having residual income as well? It makes sense! True residual income creates security, gives you options and gives you the freedom to live life on your own terms.

Don’t Neglect To Ask Yourself Difficult Questions
How often do you ask yourself if the disciplines you are engaging in are taking you in the direction you want to go?
It is essential to ask yourself this question not only at the beginning of the month and week, but also at the beginning of each day. Are my plans today taking me in the direction of my goals?
The direction you are going determines your destination.
If you honestly look at the direction that you are going, will you end up at the destination that you desire?
This is no joke. Don't think that you will even come close to a good destination if you are not headed in that direction. You cannot go in the opposite direction or even just wander about and hope that you will end up where you want to be.
You need to regularly ask yourself if you are doing the disciplines that will take you to your destination? Are you accumulating the knowledge and experience to get you where you need to go? Are you preparing yourself for the opportunities or challenges that will come your way on your journey? Are you making yourself better?
Are you willing to put down on paper and evaluate where you are and where you want to be?
Complete the following statements and speak positive words.
• My attitude is… I am working on improving my attitude.
• My health is… I am working on improving my health.
• My time management skills are… I am working on improving my time management skills.
• My work ethic is… I am working on improving my work ethic.
No matter where you are on your journey of improving your personality, health or personal and professional skills, you can always improve.
If you are an ambitious person you know who you are and where you want to go.
Do you lack ambition? The only place you can find it is within you – in your thoughts, in your actions and in your motivation. Your ambition expresses who you genuinely are.
Are you motivated to improve yourself and you situations?
Are you motivated to accept responsibility for where you are and where you want to go?
If you are, you can control your destiny. You can do a 180 if you need to. You can set your course and control where you go. You can’t always control when you will get there, but you can control IF you get there.
If you found encouragement or were challenged or inspired, please share or comment below, or on www.facebook.com/absorb360

What Price Are You Willing To Pay To Reach Your Goals?
We set goals every day, most of them are small and don’t entail a lot of effort. Life changing goals, on the other hand, usually cost a fortune!
“Count your cost” is good advice. It is easy to say that we want something, but are we willing to make the right choices to get us to where we want to be?
Every choice you make is going to cost a certain price, whether it be your energy, effort, patience, resources, or time. It is human nature to desire things and not desire to pay a fair price for them. How many people want to lose weight or make some additional income, but are not willing to sacrifice and do what it takes to achieve those things?
In order to get what you want in life, you need to desire your goal more than you don’t desire it!
Success becomes a reality when you begin to desire your goal more than you fear the cost of reaching it.
I have heard the analogy of renting or owning your goals. If you rent something, like a car, you don’t take as good of care of it as you would if you owned it. If you own something you will usually sacrifice for it because you have invested in it. If you rent something there is no commitment and you can just walk away without losing anything.
Are you a renter or an owner of your goals?
• What have you invested?
• What are you willing to sacrifice?
If you mentally own your goals and are serious about reaching them, you will invest all you can in them and make the needed sacrifices. You will be willing to write the check and pay the price to achieve the specific goal.
Success does not come cheap. How bad do you want it?
Will there be more discomfort sacrificing to get it, or sacrificing because you don't have it?
Count the cost. After writing down your goal, list some of the things you may need to sacrifice to achieve it. Are you willing to sacrifice those things, at least for a while, to achieve it? Maybe not watching television in the evenings or not eating cakes and cookies is all it will take. Maybe it will be a financial investment or involve physical exertion and some pain. Whatever the cost, you need to decide if the cost is more painful than not achieving your goal.
Hopefully your goals are magnificent and you choose to pay the price.
Once you are passionate about a goal, make the choice to pay the price and then enjoy the reward! See it, feel it and experience it, even before you reach it. Once you cross the finish line, it will be all the sweeter.

Invest In Yourself And Develop A Positive Daily Routine
Most success is found in developing a positive routine or daily habits. It gives your day structure and it helps keep the momentum going even when you might not feel like you want to do much.
Daily habits save you time and help you to prioritize, limit procrastination and keep you going in the direction of your goals. You don't waste time or mental effort deciding what to do next.
Invest in yourself, plan for success and keep repeating the actions. When you continue to take action over and over again, soon you do not need much effort to keep going. It becomes a habit.
Try different routines and see what works best for you. If your routine inspires you, do it daily and keep on doing it. If not, try something else.
If you want to boost your motivation and have more mental energy, you need a positive daily routine. This consistency will take you where you want to go.
What will your Success Routine look like?
Add these three things to your daily routine and see the difference in your productivity and success.
1) To start, you need a positive attitude. The Mayo Clinic even tells us that positive thinking helps manage stress and improve health.
It helps to pick a positive phrase and repeat it. Speak life into your day! Be grateful! A good way to start the day is to be grateful for being gifted with another day. Give thanks for the day or be grateful for what your day holds for you. Make this a habit!
2) Plan your day out the night before so you don't waste time in the morning when you are fresh ready to go. When you wake up, take a few minutes to visualize the outcome for each thing you are doing that day. Close your eyes and see yourself doing each activity from start to finish - ending with the outcome you desire. If you have trouble visualizing in detail, write it out on paper, in detail. Put it into your subconscious mind.
3) Make sure you plan in time to go on a walk or get some exercise. This will raise your productivity and improve your overall health - mentally and physically. If you are like me, you struggle with this. It usually only happens if I have extra time, which nobody has. I sacrifice my health, which in the end doesn't even help my productivity. It is better to put it on the schedule, even if it is only 15-20 minutes. Make it a habit and follow through. Once it becomes a positive daily routine, you will not only feel better, but you will see your productivity increase.
Are you ready to take your life to the next level? Are you open to creating a positive daily routine?
If you are, get out a piece of paper and start now. The best thing to do is to plan your week on Sunday evening, then each evening schedule the following day. Don't forget to schedule a walk in each day!
Get up tomorrow morning and speak gratitude. Take a few minutes to look at your schedule for the day and then close your eyes and visualize each thing you have listed.
With this positive daily routine on paper you are bound to be more productive and see your success soar!

6 Easy Steps To Accomplishing Your Goals
We all set goals - big goals and small goals. But those that actually reach their destination, are very few and far between. If you are serious about accomplishing your goals, follow these six easy steps and you will succeed.
1. Just Get Started.
There will always be excuses and reasons why you can’t get started now. You can’t wait for perfect timing. It will never come. You need to get over the mountain that is on your path. If you can do that, you will find the highway. You need to make the choice and go beyond your insecurities. Once you get moving, the momentum will keep you going and you will be better able to jump any unexpected hurdle.
2. Do one thing at a time.
I have always lived with the belief that I could do anything and everything. That is a good attitude to have, especially if you are not arrogant, but have a humble confidence. If to really look at things, I must admit that I cannot do everything all at once! Juggling doesn’t get things done faster. If I focus on one thing at a time, finish it and then move one to the next, I can accomplish much more and the quality of what I do is incredibly higher.
3. Forget your failure.
We all fail! Failure is inevitable. We will never taste success without ever experiencing failure. When you really accept this, you will not worry as much. Anticipate failure and learn from it; then move on. Embrace the hunger to succeed. This is will pick you up when you fall and help you to tenaciously push through anything.
4. Be consistent.
Consistency is the key to keeping your momentum going and accomplishing your goals. Once you stop, it is much harder to get started again. This is hard work, but it pays off. You will become what you do repeatedly. Aristotle once said. “Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Develop habits and stick with them. Habits are boring, but they create success.
5. Choose carefully with whom you spend your time.
The people you spend the most time with on a daily basis will directly influence who you are and what you become. If you choose wisely and have friends that not only encourage you, but also hold you accountable, you will be much better off. Be around people you want to be like. Spend time with people who challenge you to become more. Rub shoulders with the people you want to rub off on you.
6. Make and follow a plan.
Once we have a plan on paper, we no longer need to wonder what we should to do to get started. This takes the decision making process out of equation and leaves us more time to do what we already determined needs to be done. I heard it said that on average an adult makes roughly 35,000 decisions a day. We need as much mental room as we can get! Make a plan, set your steps and then just follow them.
These are very basic and easy steps to follow to get you from point A to point B and help you to accomplish your goals. The question is, are you willing to just do it?

Change Your Life In 30 Days
I constantly hear people talking about 30-day challenges. Maybe you have seen them too, or even have tried one yourself.
Usually they go something like this:
I am going to be doing this the next 30 days…
• Get up a half hour early
• Write in a journal every day or make a gratitude list
• Cut “this” out of my diet
• Add “this” into my diet
• Start this or that diet
• Walk so many steps a day
• Drink 8 glasses of water a day
All of these things may be great things to do and add into your daily routine. But how long do they really last? Once the 30 days are up, we usually slide back into our old comfortable routine. Then several months later you see a whole new 30 day routine that will change you forever and the cycle continues.
Most 30 day challenges don’t stick for the long run. They are just a short-term fix. We may lose a couple pounds or start our day earlier, but then once we go back to real life, everything eventually slides back to how it was.
Can you relate?
I would like to suggest another kind of 30 day challenge, if you are up to it. If you are, I can almost guarantee that this challenge will change you and become a part of your everyday life.
If you will faithfully practice it (and remember, we aren’t perfect, which is okay),here is what you should expect:
- Peace of mind
- You will see the world through different eyes and in a different way
- You will make more friends and strengthen old friendships/relationships
- You will create wonderful new opportunities for yourself (which may even lead to more professional and financial success.)
And this will only be the beginning!
The Most Important Person Challenge
The late Earl Nightingale, pioneer of personal development, suggested the following:
For the next 30 days, treat every person you meet, without a single expectation, as the most important person on earth.
This is a very simple, but a difficult challenge. If you are up to it though, I believe that it can change not only your world, but the world around you. Most likely people will begin treating you in the same way.
Of course this is a VERY SIMPLE challenge, but it goes against our very nature. If we truly desire to be successful, we need to make a daily conscious effort to put other people first and think of them better than ourselves.
Key Tip For Success
• Give Thanks
Be Thankful for what you have and ask for wisdom each morning as to how you can love and serve others that day.
• Follow The Golden Rule
This is a good practice: "I have something that I call my Golden Rule. It goes something like this: 'Do unto others 25 percent better than you expect them to do unto you.'.... The 25 percent is for error."--Linus Pauling, Nobel Prize winner
• Focus on the Benefits
Change is difficult and we are tempted to quit when we become uncomfortable or things get hard. It is essential that we focus on the benefits that will come if we persevere. You are human and you just might not feel like always being nice.
• Give Yourself Some Slack
You are human and not perfect. It is great to set the bar high, but remember that even when you fall short, you are ever improving and getting closer to being whom you want to be. You may fail from time to time, but do not let this cause you to fail for good. Keep pressing on and enjoy the harvest!
Will you accept this challenge?

Habits Of An Entrepreneur
As a former athlete and an entrepreneur for over 25 years, I have learned that mindset is everything! If your mind is weak and wanders, your success will wane.
You must be able to keep your composure in spite of others or outside influences.
You must be able to press on when the wind and the rain are blowing in your face.
If you do, you will be richly rewarded and you will know the feeling of accomplishment and that your perseverance has paid off. Very few people actually experience this. Do you have what it takes to be one of them?
As an entrepreneur, you know what you want. You are laser focused and willing to sacrifice so that with time and effort, you will be living your passion.
7 Habits To Cultivate On Your Journey To Pursuing Your Passion
1) Pursue Your Passion – If you are truly passionate about something your blood will rush and your heart rate will increase when you think about it and are in the planning stages. Once you start taking action this will build and you will truly enjoy what you are doing, no matter the sacrifice or effort you need to invest. This passion becomes your purpose and you know you are moving in the right direction.
2) Be Optimistic – When you are happy you will perform better. Promise yourself that you will remain strong and focused and that you will not let outside influences disturb your peace of mind.
3) Remain Balanced – Yes, your passion is your purpose, but to remain healthy, you cannot only focus on one thing in life. You need balance in work and play, and you need to take care of your health. When you have offended one of them, be a strong person and forgive. This is where you develop kindness and character. Be honorable and a person of integrity.
